Dankbud Private Club

Dankbud Private Club is a members-only private cannabis social club based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape, South Africa. We exist to provide our members with consistent, premium-quality cannabis for personal, private use — discreetly and reliably.

We are not a shop. We do not sell cannabis. Our members contribute towards the collective costs of cultivation, processing, and logistics, and receive their personal allocation in return.

Our Legal Structure

Dankbud Private Club is a Voluntary Association constituted under South African common law. The Club was established on 27 January 2026 and is governed by a written Constitution signed by its founding members.

Our operations are grounded in the constitutional right to privacy as affirmed by the Constitutional Court of South Africa in Prince v Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, which recognised the right of adults to cultivate, possess, and use cannabis in private.

The Club operates on a non-profit basis. Any surplus from member contributions is retained by the Club and reinvested in operations for the benefit of all members. No profits are distributed to any individual.

Governance

The Club is managed by an Executive Director who has full authority over all operational matters, as set out in the Constitution. The Executive Director may issue Club Rules that are binding on all members.

All members are expected to comply with the Club's Terms of Service, Club Rules, and Constitution.

Member Rights

• Receive your personal cannabis allocation as a contributing member.
• Privacy — your personal information is protected under POPIA.
• Quality guarantee — report issues within 48 hours for replacement or credit.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
• Raise concerns with the Executive Director at any time.
